 3AI27 will be held in Barcelona (Spain) on February 3-5, 2027 It will organized mainly by Paragraph Lab. of the University Paris 8 and the University of Barcelona (ENTI - Escola de Noves Tecnologies)

The 3AI conference observes the increasing number of artworks inspired by or produced with advanced digital technologies mainly influenced by Generative AI. This fact questions the notion of Art and its actors - including the notion of “artist” - and the definition of artistic approach. It also raises critical questions about how artworks are discovered, exchanged, collected, and preserved. These ongoing transformations provoke profound epistemological and ethical debates that reshape the philosophical, cultural, and creative landscape.

The first “3AI” symposium was held in La Louvière, Belgium, on April 27 and 28, 2023, and was organized by Transcultures (Center for Digital and Sound Arts, Belgium) and CiTU-Paragraphe (University of Paris 8, France).

The second “3AI” symposium was organized on May 26 and 27, 2024, at the Ionian Academy of Corfu, Greece, by the Paragraphe laboratory (CiTU research axis), University of Paris 8, France; the Sorbonne School of Arts, University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France; Transcultures, an intermedia center for digital and sound cultures, Belgium; European Creative Incubators, France; and the Department of Product and Systems Design, University of the Aegean Sea, Greece. The 3rd “3AI” conference (3AI.25) was held at ESAAix in Aix-en-Provence, France, co-organized by the Paragraphe laboratory (CiTU research axis), University of Paris 8, France, and Transcultures, an intermedia center for digital and sound cultures, Belgium.
